Life Interrupted (2021)

Nov 19, 2021    Tierce Green, Sam Hershey, Eric Reed

Over the last 18 months we have experienced interruptions to our lives. For some of us it has been the loss of loved ones, for others mounting economic pressures. For some it has been fears and anxiety surrounding COVID-19 and for others it has been a separation from friends or family over polarizing issues. No matter what has caused the interruptions, we know that God is a God that can take our interruptions and bring forth hope and encouragement.

The Band of Brothers invites men and students of any age/stage to join together for a night that’s designed to bring encouragement and healing as we focus on finding God and experiencing His strength, power, and peace when life is interrupted.

We will gather on Friday, November 19th, in the Worship Center of the Loop Campus of Houston’s First Baptist Church. Starting at 7:00p we will have an evening of worship led by Eber Fernandes, inspiration from Tierce Green, testimony from Sam Newton, father of fallen Army Specialist Blake Newton with the Recon Sniper Unit in Afghanistan, and prayer.

Tierce Green is a speaker, writer, and consultant. He’s traveled across the nation and around the world helping men discover God’s pathway to authentic manhood. He is a co-presenter of 33 The Series for Authentic Manhood and the Director of the Authentic Manhood Initiative which is building a global network of men reaching men with the principles of biblical manhood.
